How to Get to the Main Campus/ UTC Building
The University of Texas at Austin is located in the heart of the city of Austin, just north of the downtown area. Campus is just two miles from the State Capitol. Main thoroughfares around campus include Guadalupe to the west, MLK to the south, Red River to the east and 26th (Dean Keeton) to the north. Check out the main area map of the university.
IH-35
Take MLK Boulevard exit heading west for South campus; campus will be on your right. Or take 26th Street (Dean Keeton Street) exit heading west for North campus; campus will be on your left. To get to UTC turn right onto Guadalupe St from MLK, or left from 26th ST. Turn right onto 21st St from Guadalupe if coming from MLK, Turn left onto 21st from Guadalupe if coming from 26th St. The UTC building will be on your right hand side just before you hit Speedway
MoPac/Highway 1
Take Windsor Road exit heading east. Turns into 24th Street, which dead-ends into Guadalupe Street, the western border of campus. Turn right onto Guadalupe, turn left onto 21st st. UTC, just before on your right hand side before you hit Speedway.
Highway 71
From East, take I-35 North and follow directions for I-35 above. From West, take MoPac/Highway 1 North and follow directions for MoPac/Highway 1 above.
I-290
From East, take I-35 South and follow directions for I-35 above. From West, follow directions for Highway 71 above.

From North, take MoPac/Highway 1 South and follow directions for MoPac/Highway 1 above.
From South, take Highway 111/Airport Boulevard North to MLK Boulevard. Head West on MLK Boulevard and campus will be on your right.

D. WHEN YOU GET TO CAMPUS
Go the University Teaching Center, on 21st St and Speedway immediately for check-in/registration and all general sessions. In other words, all the really important events! o Luggage
· The best place to keep your luggage is where you’re staying, so try to drop it off before you register and show up for Friday’s events.
o Parking
· Parking is extremely limited on campus AND expensive. We STRONGLY encourage everyone to park their car at their hotel or elsewhere and to take a bus if possible. Austin has an excellent bus system. Please plan your trip on Google’s amazing tool maps.google.com/transit. Austin is one of the few cities that Google has decided to help out with so take advantage of it. There will be limited free parking for conference attendees in designated lots on the University of Texas’s campus.

· Most of the parking off-campus is metered and the City of Austin strictly enforces parking, so park off-campus at your own risk!
o Registration / Check-In
· Everyone attending the Re-Energize Texas Summit will need to check in and register. At check-in you will receive the conference booklet that will give you locations for the dozens of trainings happening over the weekend. Registration runs from noon to 6:00pm on Friday; Please get there early!
· If you are arriving after noon on Saturday, not worry. We will have help desks set up at the University Teaching Center and can give you all your information.
· Everyone who is registered and paid will check in at the University Teaching Center, North entrance (on 21st). Registration tables will be set up by school.
· Space is limited. And we cannot guarantee a spot if you wait until the day of the conference.
· At registration you will receive
· Your personal badge that grants you access to all the events over the weekend.
· The conference booklet with complete agenda including descriptions and locations of all the workshops/trainings.
· Your Re-Energize Texas t-shirt and tote.
o Late Registration
· Late Registration will be held Saturday at the University Teaching Center from 8am to 12noon. However, we would really like you to be there by 7PM on Friday because we want you to take advantage of everything we have to offer!
· If you are arriving after 12 noon on Saturday, DON’T worry. We will have help desks set up at the University Teaching Center and can give you all your information to GET YOU CHECKED-IN.
