Poetry Slam
ReEnergize Texas Participants Invited to Slam for Change
Dominican Joe, a local coffee shop in Austin dedicated to working with non-profits and providing quality Dominican products, will host a poetry slam event brought to you by Public Citizen Texas. This slam will represent activism at its finest as some of Austin’s best poets (and we’ve got some of the best in the country) will convey their thoughts on
climate change and social change through poetry… at the top of their lungs.
The slam will happen on Saturday, February 9th beginning at 8pm. Bus routes that will get you there on time from the University of Texas available below. Select “THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN – UT (IN AUSTIN) when prompted.
You will receive your free ticket for a guaranteed spot at the Slam during the keynote session on Friday, Feb 8th starting at 7pm.
